Terms and Conditions

Last updated 23 August 2026.

This document is written to describe how Amperlo actually operates today. It is not a substitute for independent legal advice — if you need this reviewed for a specific regulatory or contractual requirement, please have a solicitor check it.

1. Who these terms are with

Amperlo is operated by FXRM Services Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), company number 16676788, registered at 6 Hamm Beach Road, Portland, Dorset, DT5 1DX, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using amperlo.com, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What Amperlo is

Amperlo is a cost-tracking application for electric vehicle owners: logging charging sessions, mileage, maintenance and receipts, and calculating cost-per-mile, VAT and total cost of ownership figures from that data. It is a record-keeping and reporting tool — it does not connect to your vehicle, charge point, or bank account, and it does not move money on your behalf beyond your own Amperlo subscription payment.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use Amperlo. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the data you enter or upload. You must be 18 or over to hold an account.

4. Subscriptions and billing

5. AI-assisted receipt parsing

Paid plans include AI-assisted extraction of data from receipts you upload or forward. It's a convenience feature, not a guarantee of accuracy — always check the values it fills in before relying on them, particularly for tax or VAT reclaim purposes. You can always enter figures manually instead.

6. Your data

The data you log in Amperlo is yours. We process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter — Amperlo calculates figures like VAT reclaim and cost per mile from the data you provide, and can only be as accurate as that input.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep Amperlo available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" — we're not liable for losses arising from downtime, data-entry errors, or decisions made based on figures Amperlo calculates. Keep your own backups of anything critical (e.g. for a tax return) rather than relying on Amperlo as your sole record.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your settings, or by emailing us. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, or that we reasonably believe pose a security risk to the service or other users.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update this page and, where the change is significant, email you directly.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
